The article made some good points, but what I didn't see explored was the root of the problem. If a kid's environment consists only of people who are non-achievers, how is a kid suppose to know what success looks like? How are they supposed to know how to achieve goals?
Something else I didn't see explored was how those who did tried to get a leg up, why didn't they succeed? What was the obstacles that kept them from being successful?
