There is clear precedent for how to deal with the justice. Thomas could be forced off the bench.

Keep posting things like this Power. It is important to keep the general public aware and pressure on Congress regarding Thomas.

Clearly he must go. He has done so many things that are in direct violation of the Constitution and this article clearly states what he did.

On things like this, I tend to post to my facebook and forward to my family. There are a lot of people that don't agree with him but have no idea how to get him off the bench.

It won't be easy but if there is pressure Congress might listen. Might. :)

Don't forget to actually contact the president, who can direct the Justice Department.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/CONTACT/ or

http://www.emailthepresident.com/

Don't know if it'll help, but it can't hurt to try.

With all this information, how in the hell can Thomas still be called a Justice...

Actually why doesn't Chief Justice Roberts do his job and dismiss Thomas..Plenty of grounds, Payola, conflicts of interest and all..

If Roberts get rid of Thomas, President Obama can put forward a liberal candidate.

PowerIsKnowledge...If Roberts get rid of Thomas, President Obama can put forward a liberal candidate

And now you know why Chief Justice Roberts will not relieve or dismiss Non-Justice Thomas....

Not that Roberts would, but I don't think the chief justice has the power to dismiss another justice.

The Impeachment Process

The chief justice of the Supreme Court presides over impeachment hearings in the United States Congress.

Robert's had his own problems when a congressman tried to have him impeached. link.

Beau7890, you are correct...The chief justice decides who will write opinions and also presides over the closed-door conferences where justices vote on cases.

Chief Justice Roberts can make Thomas completely irrelevant and should, is more to my point...due to Thomas's conflict of interest...
