Thanks to Rachel Maddow for bringing this school and story to the national spotlight. I wonder where are the Bill Cosby's, Oprah's and other mega wealthy American Black folks who have no problem condemning their fellow African American sisters, but have remained silent on this issue. There should be Catherine Ferguson Schools run privately in every State. This woman are helping themselves, why others who can afford to help them have pulled a "Disappearing Act" is the question. I point out Mr.Cosby for obvious reasons.

I'm going to leave Oprah out of this because she's shared, and still sharing, her money with a lot of diferent causes but I would like to hear from the others, especially the rappers who you rarely hear about giving anything back.

And you're right blackheywood, there should be Catherine Ferguson Schools run privately, like they were in the past, in every State. These young girls need positive role models and effective programs in their lives. These girls are going to be success stories.
