Two ugly forces had to combine to produce the birth certificate sideshow, which can only be described as a national disgrace. One is a calculated attempt by Obama’s political opponents to de-legitimize his presidency.
"He's smarter, richer, luckier and better looking than you, and he's your president. And he's black. Get over it"

These small petty little insecure people will always be out saying things to make themselves appear bigger than life!

I'll always remember my mom training me to wear clean underwear in case I'm in an accident and have to be transported to the hospital by strangers, and I aways wear clean underwear not because I care whether or not they'd be seen by strangers but because they're uncomforable after a days wearing. So why do these fruitcakes continue to air their dirty drawers?

My mom taught me that too...and in the end she was right. I got hit by a car as a kid and had to be transported...luckily, they were clean!

Unfortunately their mothers told them to just turn their dirty drawers inside out, and if hit buy a car, emergency workers would just think that the streaks were skid marks, from a muddy tire.

Luck had nothing to do with it, President Obama just worked much harder.
That said they do need to get over it.

I always said that if I was in an accident there was a fairly high percentage chance that they weren't going to be clean anyway. Fear does that.

Right: fear makes the white people afraid of this amazing man. It is racist, from the birther crap, to the schooler crap, to all the people who say the Shrub did in OBL. It's is all racist crap. Luckily, our country is better than that.

Ship is sailing the oceans.
A pirate ship appears on the horizon. The captain says "Men, bring me my red shirt!" The first mate fetches the shirt and the captain successfully leads an attack on the pirates that sinks their ship.
One of the sailors asked the captain "Why do you wear a red shirt in battle?" The captain responded "because if I am wounded, you will not see blood and will continue to fight as if nothing is amiss." The crew was astounded at the bravery of the captain.
Later, twenty pirate ships appeared on the horizon. The men looked to the captain, waiting for the request that brought everyone so much strength. The captain looked at the horizon and said, "Men, bring me my brown pants!"

Just boggles my mind at the pettiness and envy coming from the Republicans/Tea Party when it comes to President Obama.
They look so small. They cannot for the life of them ever give credit to this President and probably never will. What a waste.

It's the petty "winner take all" mindset that has grown to permeates every facet of our society. It is going to take a real national emergency where everyone (rich & poor) suffers for us to get around this. If not, its going to take generations to get past, if ever.
I sure don't have any hope in my lifetime in seeing things change to where compromise and cooperation for the betterment of the nation are first and foremost in importance.

There's nothing to get over. Any way you cut it, unemployment remains at about 9%, his seminal accomplishment, health care, has been repealed, he failed to bring the troops home in 16 months as promised, he failed to close Gitmo, he has kept government spending going by printing and borrowing which will lead to inflation and has already led to the decline of the dollar which is causing rising gas and food prices. He doesn't understand economics, doesn't understand the American people, and is not competent to be president.
Personally, I couldn't care less if he's black, rich, good looking, whatever. He's the worst president we ever had and in 2012 he'll he going back to Chicago as a failure. Get over it.
. He's the worst president we ever had
Oh for the love of God pick up a @!$%#ing history book. He is nowhere near the bottom quartile. Not when you have luminaries like Buchanan, Harding, Andrew Johnson, Fillmore, Grant, and Nixon down there.
And I said the same thing about people who said W was the worst ever too.

Adipic - I was actually rendering an opinion and hadn't categorized our past presidents into quartiles. If I had, I would have "Excellent", "Pretty good", "Poor", and "Really Crappy".
FDR, Carter, Wilson, Johnson, Johnson, and Obama would be together in one of those categories.
All I hear from you now is ideological blather. The people you cite might be the Presidents whose politics agree the least with yours, but that hardly qualifies as "bad" in any objective system of measurement. I disagree with a hell of a lot of Wilson's politics, to use one example, but that did not make him a "bad" President. I quite admire Grant's hard stands on civil rights and black equality, but the man was a disaster of a President. Until you are willing to do more than cheer for the "home team" as it were, I'm still not taking your opinion very seriously as it appears your selection system was "find the Democrats or former Democrats and put them on the list."
