For those of you who didn’t know it everyone who works for the federal government works for us!

That’s right! We are their employers’ a/k/a bosses because the moment they accepted our taxes in salary in exchange to do the work we hired them to do, we became their bosses.

You may asked, “But why are they such lousy employees?”

And the answer is, you tell me!

Please look in a mirror and look yourself straight in the eyes then ask yourself, “If I employ everyone who works for the federal government why are they such lousy employees,” and don’t be surprised if the answer comes back, “Because I’m a lousy boss.”

Employees have to be supervised and we taxpayers aren’t doing a very good job of supervising our employees!

Now you may be asking, “How am I supposed to supervise employees of the federal government?”

Well, a few of the ways it’s done is:

  1. Attend town hall meetings and ask a lot of questions. Asking questions will let your representative know where your head is at and whether or not his/her thoughts are in-lined with yours.
  2. Volunteer to work on the campaigns of the people running if you believe their goals for the country are in-lined with yours.
  3. Voice your concerns at the polls. Voting says, “not no, but hell no!”
  4. When any of the representatives from any state goes off the deep end let them know how you feel by writing them. I personally don’t agree with sending emails because they are too impersonal.
  5. Learn the steps to impeachment and get out there and collect those signatures. You might start out as the lone ranger but as times goes on others will join you. You might not collect enough signatures because those who are afraid of authority and those who disagree with you won’t sign the petition but believe me, the word will get back to the incumbent or the individual whose running!

Now that we know what it takes to be a good boss it’s time to ask yourself, "Are our employees earning their keep!"

This is how much we pay our federal employees

$193,400 Majority Party Leader

$193,400 Minority Party Leader

$223,500 Speaker of the House

$174,000 Senators / Congress

$208,100 Chief Justice of the Supreme Court

$199,200 Associate Justices

link others (general, foreign, military, etc. pay schedules)

What’s not included in the salaries are non-taxable and taxable expenses and taxpayer paid benefits.

How many bosses pay their employees more then they pay themselves?

How many bosses provide benefits to their employees that they aren’t giving themselves?

Cuts should start at the top and the cuts I’d like to start with are the salaries and benefits of our top government officials!

How about you?

Remember the average Federal Employee makes around 50 to 60 thousand dollars and that is what what a GS-9 would make and many more make less. The People in your post are not payed the same as most Federal Employees. Who can say what the President make is to much when we expect him to be available at any time day or night 24/7, 365 days a year. Just about every CEO of a company makes more then he dose. All the people in your list could make more if they worked as head of most companies.

I am not so sure you read what I posted. The people you are posting about are not over payed. In my Opinion. Just because you or I may not like them or some of them dose not mean they are overpaid. They do have benefits that most of us do not have and that is the problem. But most companies CEOs still have even better benefits. Those are the people we should be attacking. Again that is just my opinion.

      Politicians aren't CEOs.

Politicians are taxpayers employees and employees should not have benefits that are better then their employers nor should they make more than their employers.

I don't know of any employee who makes more then their employer or have better benefits, do you?
