Back in History, long before Jesus and the formation of the Bible, one man named Akhenaten promoted belief in One God.
Even though this One God was the sun and not Jehova, or Yahweh, it set about a new Religious feud between those
who believed in Multiple Gods, and those who followed this new Single God.

Why is this important?

Because in some Monotheistic Faiths, a -Kins' existence is often denied, or made into something sacrilegious or demonic. On the Forum, we sometimes get Visitors/Members who are Christian/Catholic, that are confused about their Spirituality because of their Strict Religious upbringing. Religion seems, on a greater level, not to allow for spiritual
growth beyond it's own boundaries, and I suspect this can feel heavily constricting.
