The week of March 15, thousands of Tea Party activists from across the country descended on Capitol Hill for one last coordinated surge against "Obamacare" and to voice opposition against big government.

When African Americans celebrated July 4th in the earliest years of the Republic, white men often disrupted the ceremonies, hooting that blacks couldn’t consider themselves American citizens. When black and white abolitionists in the antebellum North spoke against slavery, white men frequently, at the least, threatened them with violence.
The Teabaggers sound like they're trying to revive the old boys racism.
This Fourth of July is yours, not mine

So white people attend Tea Parties. So what? Why is that a problem. What do you have against white men?

Nothing, after all I'm a white guy myself. I do have a problem with white supremacists however, walking around blaming all their problems on "the others" like their @!$%# don't stink. I have a problem with folks that go around advocating violence against said "others". I have a problem with the folks that wave the flag around thumping their bible, demanding their rights in the same breath as demanding to take someone else's rights away. I have a problem with those same people trying to tear down our secular democratic-republic government to prop up their theocracy. I have a problem with the folks that cry about socialism and then throw a hissy fit about keeping the government's hands off their Medicare.

So I assume you'd be the first to condemn the Leftists throwing eggs at the Tea Party busses and physically threatening a journalist out at Searchlight.
What is your take on Obama supporter vowing to kill Eric Cantor and his family? He actually takes credit for shooting Cantor's VA office. Where is all this supposed Right wing violence that has been reported on lately?
Maybe not the first, but I did condemn it. Feel free to look up my comment history.

Bill Maher said it best (to paraphrase):
Taxes have gone down for @ 90% of the tax paying public. Yet, only 2% of the Tea Party movement knows this. How is it that a "movement" named after a tax protest can be so obtuse about the facts of taxation?

Did my taxes yesterday. I must be a wealthy American because mine were way up.

Have a professional do them. Pay a bit more to save more.

There are at least 30 Black Republican Conservative candidates running for national office in the Senate and Congress this year, the most ever. Many of them have been speaking at Tea Parties and will be supported strongly by the movement . What will the Libs say about this? Complete denial, or trash them as not really being Black?

Which has no bearing on the fact that very, very few of them will get elected by a predominantly white constituency.

Time will tell about that I guess. I'd say several will win. If they are the best candidate, I hope they will.
What is clear is that the Media , desperate Democrats and the administration have decided that the best strategy they have to salvage a few Democrat seats this fall is to pit Blacks against the Conservatives and the Tea Parties by fueling the old fires of Racism.

I rarely watch mainstream news. I found nothing in either article stating that the man is a democrat?
As for your "lily white" theory. You are not being truthful and well know it. There have been speakers, attenders and even organizers of all races and political persuasions involved with the Tea Parties.
Meet Michael Williams, running for the Texas Senate seat . Williams has spoken at many Tea Party events in Texas.
from The Washington Independent:(including comments from Eric Erickson -major Tea Party supporter and Conservative Blogger)
“Williams is awesome,” said Erick Erickson, managing editor of RedState.com. “He’s a true rock star in the movement right now. People like him because of his beliefs, not because of his skin color, but there is definitely a bonus to having a black conservative who can be a voice of opposition to the first black President.” One example of Williams’ rock star status came in July, when he joined Liz Cheney as a speaker and guest at the RedState Gathering in Atlanta.
Williams is only the most experienced and best-known African-American Republican candidate out of a pool of them mounting a serious bid sfor national office in 2010. In Colorado, 31-year-old city councilman Ryan Frazier is running for the U.S. Senate seat held by Michael Bennet, a first-time candidate who was appointed by Gov. Bill Ritter (D-Co.) In Florida, Lt. Col. Allen West (Ret.) is making his second bid for a swing seat in Congress held by Rep. Ron Klein (D-Fla.). In western North Carolina, Ret. Col. Lou Huddleston is running against freshman Rep. Larry Kissell (D-N.C.). Reached by TWI, all of them stressed that their campaigns had nothing to do with race. At the same time they pointed out if they got to Congress, the image of the GOP would change immediately, and any attempt to find racism in Obama’s critics would hit some sand traps.

I didn't say it, Joseph Bonica did. Maybe Newsvine is too advance for you because it requires reading with comprehension.
