The African-American Mentoring summit is part of an innovative joint venture between Big Brothers Big Sisters and Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi and Omega Psi Phi. According to the report, Phi Beta Sigma is also expected to participate in the partnership.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America is a great organization and is a great service for communities. When children are missing a parent in the home, a mentor is a welcome adage and an opportunity to provide children with adventures they might not otherwise experience.
