If this doesn't confirm that the noise is about racism, I don't know what will.

Does one person automatically make everyone else who dares to question a racist??? I hope not.

Only as long as the question is concerning 'healthcare' and doesn't devolve into 'other issues' or hints at 'birth certificates' that question the citizenship of the president...

As long as the topic is what is discussed, healthcare in this instance. Then no, it isn't racist to 'question'...but you knew that right?

Try this...

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036697#32393573

It is the same link but, sometimes things happen...I know it works for me...Its over 12 min's long so on the first time viewing it, it took a minute to 'load'...(maybe that is what is happening?...)

To @!$%# Day to Scott.

David Scott.

Headline's inaccurate, PowerIsKnowledge. There's an Obama image attached, but all the N-words directly target Scott. I'd suggest Hardball's title - 'Racism and rage mar health care debate'.

Mind #3 of the CoH:

Headlines should be supported by the information presented in the article/seed, rather than used primarily as a means to draw attention. Chosen news types and tags should be accurate and informative - not used to provoke or make a statement.

No ..please tell me that no American had the audacity to do this...

I am in shock....this is all we needed ..it has been confirmed..........

I grieve very deeply for this fine man, and hope whoever did this is punished and made aware of how much he has offended us, and our country.

The graffiti and the letter are both troublesome...truly a disturbed person did that.

Dares to question what?

The questions are stupid and not even in anyones best interest to be asked at this juncture. A health plan is a work in progress and has not been put to a vote yet, and isnt even ready to be questioned. When it has been agreed apon by all it will be presented to the public to read and confer....and question.

Death panels, killing grandma , silly things we don't even care about ...problems that dont even exist are being addressed by people who do not have a clue.

You know the "N" word is ugly and there is no need to use it...and yes it is tossed around a lot by blacks...but plenty of whites too...however to address our President that way is gross.

The issue is supposed to be health care. Health care for all that is really health care concerned for the individual American's well-being.

While there may be parts of the plan we disagree about, I do not understand the disagreement that a plan is needed, that is cost effective, and comprehensive.

The sheer size of the proposed plan on line is daunting even to me, and I would like to see a clearer and more concise version for public perusal with no filler. It needs to be presented in English and lawyer forms - kind of like the present press 1 for .....and press 2 for .....

I think we all have questions and concerns about where the money will come from and what are we getting in return.

Which brings us to an underlying issue: raising taxes. I think part of the controvesy stems from this alone. Well, with a war on two fronts, and unemployment what it is, what choice is there but to raise taxes on the wealthiest? Just asking. You might try to collect from the homeless, and unemployed or underemployed, but you can't get blood out of a turnip, and you can't get money from people who have NONE to give. For the people worried about euthanizing Grandma, I wonder if they have any qualms about outright starving people to death - including the young. Yes, definitely, let's keep Grandma on life support with a feeding tube, comatose, and make sure she does not know about something called a Living Will. The Living Will gives her the OPTION of live support, feeding tubes, etc., or the OPTION not to have those things. It is an OPTION for the individual to make a choice while they are still able.

But, no, it's easier to rant and rave, mis-direct, and call names - makes me wonder if some of the ranters are tied to the lucrative insurance companies wanting to take their country back. Well, they haven't lost it yet, nor will they as long as they can keep us from coming together and discussing anything rationally. Not all dissenters are racist, but it is a good dividing point, and keeps the pot boiling.

All dissenters are not racist...true enough....but it annoys me so much to see the people who have no real idea what is going on ...seniors mostly...raving and screaming....for what?

I keep saying if you go to a town meeting and see a swarthy guy with a silk shirt open to >>>>here ..hairy chest...and a thick gold chain...stand next to him....he is a protector.....

I'm just sayin'.....capish?

This is totally inaccurate. Obama was not called an N____. If you watch the video, when David scott is reading the paper he allegedly received, the N word was reffering to David Scott, not Obama.

Yes, I noticed...

BUT...

It still isn't right to call David that...
