Do you have hundreds of friends on Facebook?

Well here is a good twist on Web 2.0 social-marketing.

Facebook and Burger King are teaming up to give you a free Whopper...as long as you "sacrifice" 10 friends to get it.

I don't know if this promotion is still going on but it's not something I'd participate in because I value my friendships.

I'll drop ten friends if they get rid of that creepy big-headed king.

I'll drop ten friends if they bring back their old french fries that they had in the early 90's and before. I used to love BK's fries, but they "improved" their fries so that they taste like crap! They have the worst fries of any fast food chain.

I don't like Burger King and I don't have Facebook "friends" that aren't actual friends, so I guess I'm outside the demographic of this campaign.

Just thought of a high school friend I'd drop for a milk shake and some fries.
