In light of the extremist rhetoric in evidence at previous tea party protests, by aggressively promoting what it has labeled "FNC Tax Day Tea Parties," Fox News is also associating itself in advance with whatever violent, offensive, or otherwise extremist rhetoric emanates at those upcoming events.

I find it funny that wanting to fight Taxation without Representation (if you believe that you are represented in Congress then you must be a personal friend of your so-called representative, or a paying lobbyist) people are labeled as Extremists... Without this kind of extremist rhetoric we'd still be a British colony and speaking with some funny British like accent...

This article is full of vitriol. FNC has the same rights and ethics to promote these tea parties and the MSM has to ignore them as if they were some kind of nuisance. I am glad FNC stood up and it is time for the MSM to do their jobs without their Liberal leanings. To prove my point I have enclosed this link from an article by Paul Krugman at the NYT? Here is the link: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/13/opinion/13krugman.html?_r=1&ref=opinion.
I read the article and it is the usual Liberal claptrap about the GOP. Eveidently Mr. Krugman doesn't get it. This is not about the GOP, this is about Conservativism. He mocks the tea parties by calling them and I quote, "Last but not least: it turns out that the tea parties don’t represent a spontaneous outpouring of public sentiment. They’re AstroTurf (fake grass roots) events, manufactured by the usual suspects. In particular, a key role is being played by FreedomWorks, an organization run by Richard Armey, the former House majority leader, and supported by the usual group of right-wing billionaires. And the parties are, of course, being promoted heavily by Fox News."
This man sits in his Liberal Ivory tower and actually believes the swill he is writing. I think that the demise of the NYT as a credible source of information is at hand and should be cherished as a step forward, that is if by some miracle the NYT sees the future and starts doing actual jopurnalistic work of integrity and grit without leaning towards either side.

Nice attempt to drape yourself in the flag and invoke the Founding Fathers. Where were you when Bush was running trillion dollar wars - off the books? Where were you when Bush destroyed Habeas Corpus?
The GOP is, the be blunt, just a bunch of cheap @!$%#ers that don't want to pay anything to sustain and grow this country. But of course they're the first to complain that the roads have potholes, the streams are polluted, that TSA's lines are long, etc, that the Pentagon needs a new and ineffective gizmo.
Bleah. Too disgusting for a sunny Monday morning.

It is about conservatism and if I may add the christian reich as you two groups are such good pals, kinda indecent really but we will let that go for now...
Point being is that this gross indecent, insane, un-american, irational and down right assine and stupid thing called conservatism needs to be driven out of our poitics.
Conservatism is a fifth column that needs to be spoken against, loudly and forcefully, everywhere you find it.

see now that is calling names...FYI, calling a group say conservatives juicy headed child molesters is ok...cause a fight no doubt...lol but you can replace liberals or painters or tall people for conservatives and it can slide...
but call someone by name, a name...like you just did and that is a get ya banged right outa here thing...Seriously...I used "nincompoop" which I considered kinda a nice thing, like calling your kid brother a dork with a smile and lots of love in it, and I got jacked for a day...lol, no kidding, it happened.
So no telling what you get for that one.... but it won't be me who tattles, hey is that is all I get called i figure I haven't gotten through!

we protested taxation without representation from the brits
this sint the same and only 2% are having their taxes rolled back to the rate they were before we had 2 wars and gave them tax cuts.
IT's pretty hatefull and unamerican to cry sooo much when this country asks you for a small sacrifice to help repair her from the damage your party had done. Bush had two wars and gave yall a tax cut to pay for it. asked 1% to give their families and blood for this country.
I say we shoudl let these bed wetting conservatives have their tax rates frozen.. as long as they serve one tour in iraq or Afghanistan. I bet they would STFU then.
freak, pathetic american haters, if you ask me. we shoudl give them a little island to live on, where they can live their lives tax free and can hate everyone they want.

Last time I checked my history books, the Boston Tea party was protesting taxation WITHOUT representation. Last time I check we have plenty of representation.
My understanding is the one of the reasons behind this "tea bag" demonstration is to protest the budget item that will re-instate the tax rate for the wealthy that was in existence during the Clinton Administration.
This whole thing points to what seperates Dems from Repubs, liberals from conservatives etc. - classes. Rich vs poor, weathly vs middle class.
One of the few things the Republican party has been good it..the rich got richer, the middle class got poorer. The economy after the internet bubble burst..greatly benefitted the white collars vs the blue collars.
Haven't the Republican's figured out the only thing tea bags are good for is to make a good cup of tea or get rid of bags under their eyes?

when the right-wingers were in the majority, controlling all of washington, it was "this is america, love it or leave it". now that they're on the losing end of the election and their policies aren't in place, suddenly the other side's policies are unamerican and we need a revolution to reclaim the country. no, sorry, it's called LOSING and you have to hold your nose and live with policies and decisions that you think are wrong, and try to change them at the next election. put up with it because we had to for the past 8 years. at least obama has not circumvented the constitution, FISA, the geneva conventions (not yet, anyway).

This is like a social experiment in denial, in advance.
Republicans will hype up the rhetoric but if anything violent comes from their conjuring they will just deny their involvement and make some lame claim to free speech.
Republicans should take their cue from James Dobson who so eloquently, and correctly, pointed out that the conservative movement has failed to produce anything other than division.
Way to go GOP, now is the time to drone the Bush mantra; "I'm a uniter, not a divider!"

You may note i was even trying to help out one of "them" if you will, in doing it...Why isn't that being commented on?
Did you note the exchange with Alan? That wasn't personally acrimonious. I keep the difference in mind I really do...mostly....
Ok, ya got got me there...a little tiny bit....lol
But seriously, what I think of conservatism and the religious reich I am not even getting close to letting those True American Miseries know how I feel about them, not by a mile ;)

If you check with the Federal Election Obama and Dodd were the highest paid reciepients of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
The reason we are in this mess is Clinton's policies of giving are technologies to China, and the conspiracy of Alan Greenspan and Clinton, which were sealed by and inept Pelosi Congress.

It's called abortion, something the left and your boy Obama know plenty about. As if it wasn't good enough for the abortion itself, Obama saw to it as a state senator, to deny a baby that lived through an abortion any medical care, leaving it to die.
Yea, we conservatives are real scumbags aren't we?
at least obama has not circumvented the constitution,
No? The desire to nationalize healthcare? Telling car companies to fire their CEO? Telling car companies to declare bakruptcy by a certain deadline or to merge with another foreign company? Buying mortgages, running banks .... yea you're right he hasn't circumvented the Constitution. Have you ever read the Constitution?
One of the few things the Republican party has been good it..the rich got richer, the middle class got poorer
The only thing the Democrat Party is good at is taking people's money and redistributing it. The ignorance in this seed is absolutely amazing. Have any of you read the Constitution? None of Obama's goals (ala Universal Healthcare, banking, car industry, or mortgages) are the job of our government. Oh yea I forgot the Dems are also good at forming things such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The Dems and the Carter Adsministration really used their heads on that one. Hmmmm, lets force banks to give loans to people who otherwise wouldn't qualify. How'd that work out for everyone?
Where were all of these compassionate CONservative Rightwingnut Teabaggers when BushCo was spending the United States into bankruptcy?
Are you paying attention at all to what Obama and company are doing? Where is the money for any of the crap they're trying to do coming from? Oh I forgot they're just going to keep printing the money up and tank the value of the dollar, but that's ok, right?

No, I just don't wnt my government controlling business, setting payroll limits on what people get paid, controlling banks, car companies' and healthcare. I want my government doing what it's supposed to be doing, you know fixing infrastructure, roads and defending our country.
I read these posts and shake my head at how much hate anger there is about Bush and how he violated the Constitution, yet your boy is doing it right now and nothing is said. Obama and company are raping our Constitution and you're acting like a bunch of starry eyed school girls cheering him on.
As for the taxes part, it's simple get rid of the damn IRS and replace it with the Fair-tax. Then everyone gets all of their money nin a pay check and instead of being taxed on production (the dumbest thing ever) we'll be taxed on our consumption.
The Constitution people read it and tell me, what it is about the Dems in charge right now that suggests they're upholding and defending it as they swore to do.

Everyone implying the Tea Party protestors are extremeists.
The Tea Party is NOT a Republican event. I dislike the Republican party about as much as I dislike the Democrat party. I am tired of the Republicans trying to take ownership out of something good, and equally tired of the left trying to tie 'extremist' labels on us. Both parties have a political monopoly, which is draining the American people into serfdom. It needs to stop.
Some on here are wondering where we were during Bush's (King George as I called him) reign. We are around, we just didn't get much publicity, except when people like us protested the open borders in 2005.
We are sick of governmnet corruption from both major parties. We are going to continue to protest. This is the start of what brought an end to unfair British taxation.
So, here is my opinion: McCain is a globalist and Obama is a marxist. They both are bad, and so is the majority of the members of their party. We need change.....to change back to our constitutional roots!
It makes it so easy to recognize the extreme right.
Just find out if a person watch Fox News. There is the proof.

There is an even easier way. It's anybody who uses the words 'Democrat Party'. (see post #1.49 for an example)
It's a popular mechanism with right-wingers these days, a tongue-in-cheek way of saying that people in the Democratic Party are un-democratic. It was also a popular mechanism with one Joseph McCarthy.
From now on, they should start calling members of the Republican Party 'Repubes' in response. They probably call their country a 'c**t' as well, when people aren't around.
- 4 votes
Oh please!! Homeland Security is a joke, they could not even find an "illegal alien" in a crowd of 500,000 of them marching in the Los Angeles streets a couple years ago, they can't even find 10,000 of the illegals from who knows where crossing our borders ILLEGALLY every day!! They can't seem to find EMPLOYERS hiring illegals all around the country! They can't seem to be able to find the 2 to 3 MILLION illegals using stolen ID"s all around the country, some ID"s being used up to 200 times at the very same time around the country....yea, right, so HS is going to start taking photos of true AMERICANS protesting per their constitutional rights?
If so, then it IS time for a tea party!! And don't say I am some right wing nut--I am a blue stater, Democrat raised all the way to my recently turned 100 year old grandmother! Most issues, I am liberal as they come (ie abortion rights, gay marriage, gun control), and some I am conservative (ie NO amnesty for illegals, pro death penalty)...so, don't go labeling who is enjoying this tea day and go find some true lawbreakers, ie illegals and their employers, while millions of Americans are out of work, to film...OK??

"Governmentis the problem, not the solution?"
Ha! Classic rhetoric.
Reagan thought govt was the problem so he leaned on it like a crutch and left office with a massive deficit. Instead of reeling in tax revenue from big-business, he just decided to subsidize it like never before. Who paid for that? Hmmmmmm, oh yeah - the taxpayers!
Please don't pretend that there is such a thing as a practicing fiscal conservative.
It's a myth - just like "Fair and Balanced".

Unrepentant Conservative - I certainly hope they get the credit they deserve for covering the event properly,
The government has been growing and becoming more oppressive for quite a long time, with both Republican and Democrat presidents
Like the original tea party which put an overbearing ruling monarchy on notice that Americans will fight to remain free, the people today are assembling and demonstrating their grievances and displeasure
Of course, there are those who will say and do anything to discredit patriotic Americans who will find their way in, and the left leaning Mass Media will focus on them to twist and downplay the news.
You can expect every liberal activist group in the country to have as many rock throwers as possible at each event

No, all the liberals I know will be at work. That is the thing that people who make less than $250,000 per year do every day during the week. In exchange for going to work, our CEO overlords see fit to give us 1/400th of their own yearly earnings. It is nice to know that you are out there fighting to keep the CEO's taxes from going back to the levels they were under Clinton. Luckily Obama has made sure us working folks get a tax cut, even if it isn't as much.
I will however drink a glass of tea as a salute to those who feel no shame in self-parody, the teabaggers...

After my 3rd year of being the top store in the company and as a result getting my pathetic 1.5% yearly raise from my boss driving his new Jaguar, I told him to f.o. I now work for his competition across the street. If bosses want to crap on workers, I fully support unions and those willing to put their beliefs to the test. Do I make the same? Yeah, but I don't stress as much from thankless bosses.

Yea....I looked at the YouTube video and the history of the poster who is in this video. Her 'favorites' and other links don't exactly scream God-fearing, gun owning conservative. If you could see past your rosey colored glasses and investigate futher down the road, you would have found that.
Think Mary Joe McFane and the NRA. Same concept but just to discredit this 912 project and me also thinks you have been suckered by propaganda on that one, but that is nothing new so...

Who cares about who posted the video to YouTube? It's the wingnuts at the meeting, and the fact that no one stands up to their craziness, that we need to be concerned about.

PowerIsKnowledge... I must say I like your screen moniker. It puts your position on the issues in perfect perspective. You see, no matter which of the evil two party's is in power their faithful devotees will tout their group-think as knowledge. In other words, being in power means your words are knowledge, and those not in power don't know @!$%#!
With people like you voting, is it any wonder this country is lead by idiots and inbuciles.
- 2 votes
LOL!!! how do you draw that conclusion?
If being in power automatically meant you had knowledge, why would those in power need teams of advisers? "Knowledge is power" in a nutshell means if you posses knowledge you have the necessary tools to participate in an intellectual battle. You can succeed by knowing! It's the opposite of going to war with a butter-knife which is what you seem to be doing!
- 12 votes
I guess I forgot to put out a sarcasm warning...
However, you seem to believe that your side has knowledge and thus gained their current power through demonstrating that that knowledge will lead us out of the mess the last knowledgeable power-holders created. Turned out their knowledge was flawed. It will turn out the same for the current crop of knowledgeable power-holders. Because when the goal is power the only knowledge required is the knowledge of manipulation. And with the knowledge of manipulation you can kill with a butter-knife.
I feel for you OBAMA-FAN, your adoration of the Messiah is admirable, but blind adoration of any politician will fence you in... As for me I choice the freedom of independance. I would rather be free to fend for myself in the Forrest than be stuck like a duck in a politican's pen.

See this is what people who do not have a real argument say! Never once in my comment did I mention a particular politician or even Obama for that fact! It's who can not admit to the fact that you are wrong and have no clue that try to steer the conversation from what was being discussed! You response was 3 complete circles, and when you talk or walk in circles you go NOWHERE!
My support of OUR president is not blind, and in no way do i claim him to be the "Messiah", the right winger's are the only ones who tout his as such. i believe in his abilities, policies and his decisions, more so than any candidate since Clinton(bill). So if you think you know my political views, or the depth of my support to the point where you would allegde that i considered Obama to be the second coming, then give me the upcoming Powerball numbers. You must have "the gift"!
It's I who feel for you. You think you are an independent and not affiliated with any group, but you are in no way, shape, or form an independent or unique individual! There are millions just like you who claim to not follow or claim a political party, so guess what? You are in a party! A party of ignorance. a party of wannabe individualists that are all the same!! The GOP and FOX can host as many Tea party's as they like. Fact is if the economy turns around - and it appears that that is beginning to occur - the GOP will be screwed in both the midterm elections and the next Presidential election. It's really all about the economy and it doesn't appear that the GOP is going to win this one!
They can B***H and complain and try to rewrite history all they like! Fact is Bush left this country in an absolute mess and if Obama presides over a nice rebound in the economy he and the DemoCrooks will be rewarded. If the economy continues to tank - the RepubliCrooks will win!
Problem is the GOP has no leadership and no solutions - so it looks like the DemoCrooks are safe for now!

That is...
A rather inconvenient little fact that they squirm and squeal about but ...
They just can't get around...
Not without being the pathetic and bottom rung delusional liars that it appears the conservative movement is made of now in any case...
They just can't clue in that it is this whole refusal to look honestly at the flaws, mistakes and downright failure of their own policy that pisses so many off.
They repeat that crap ad nausea and I feel, like they think, I am as stupid as them...and that is insulting to me. And that translates to me getting pissed and no dollars or votes for anything even remotely connected to conservative.
ahh well.... the good news is it means they aren't growing...

Who cares about tea parties? If people feel so inclined, then have a blast. At least that is a civil form of protest. I'd much rather see that than this recent fad of either directly calling for, or implying, violent revolutions. I have no patience for the 'violent revolution' crowd. Killing other Americans because one did not get their way is not what I would call patriotic.
If people feel they don't like the direction the country is going, then they have the right to protest in a civil manner. I of course would argue that a large majority of the country approves of the direction our administration has taken us. however, that's my right as it is someone else's right to disagree. What none of us have the right to do is spread false information or put someone else in danger.
- 5 votes
Jarad,
Well said! They do have every right to "tea Party" as long as it remains civil and on topic. I agree with you, most of these folks are not of the same cloth that the gun toting revolutionists are. Those kinks are rather scary.

I hope that Obama continues to move down the road he's on.
To tax the richest of the rich (2%) so that every gain they made in Bush's eight years, are met by the lack of gains 98% of the rest of us made. So that, by the end of an eight year term, Obama has locked in a parity in gains for the rest of we 98% of the population of the U.S.
Obama is poised to ask this question, over and over again:
"We are often fond, as people, of being a "Christian nation," or, "a nation of people who go to some kind of religious ceremony each week."
"Most of the major religions implore their adherents to do charity work. I would therefore ask the American people, when we look at providing health care for all Americans, what Jesus meant when he said: 'What you do for the least among you, you do for me?" I believe he meant that that challenges us to be our brother or sister's keeper. And, that we must be willing to care for those less well off.
"As such, I ask: is it in the spirit of Jesus, Allah, Buddha, others, to watch 45-50 million of our fellow Americans labor without any health insurance? What would Jesus, or Buddha, or Allah, ask us to do? Would they want us to ignore those 50 million, and go on about our business without helping? I therefore ask Americans to look deeper into their hearts and minds, and decide: shall we give health care to every American man, woman and child? If not, why not? If not, what is your justification from withholding such services?
"Have you ever considered how frightening, and anxiety producing it must be for those millions, to dance so delicately around the possibility of a disastrous health related incident which bankrupts them, and throws them onto the streets? Yes, taxes will need to be raised, but does that not offer us all an opportunity to help one another? I am committed to helping this happen. If the American people want to overrule me, then they should let me know. Right now, I am headed towards bringing health care to all."
Now, if that is socialist, then bring on socialism.
The same is true for moving towards massive shift to alternative energy; and, improving our education system. These are all things that may necessitate higher taxes. Are they not worth it?
I think they are. And, I hope we can do our best to do this with as few government bureaucrats as possible. I cannot say that the American people will go along. The Republicans have shown they are the Party, not only of "no," but also, of "selfishness. The GOP have shown who they want to send their money to. I don't know what the outcome will be.
But, mark my words: if the American people say they want these things to happen, yes, we are moving towards a European form of managed capitalism, or, socialism, when the government takes on these massive responsibilities. Remember: no social security? No unemployment or welfare payments and plans? No help for colleges? Well, those are socialist ideas, too. But, really, HOW socialist?
I favor paying for these things, and yes, I will take home less. BUT ... maybe the U.S. can finally reach a point where other nations have been for many years. Taking care of the least among us ... well, that's something Jesus preached all the time. And the Buddha. And Allah.
That ought to cover quite a few people.
Let's hear what the selfish Republicans have to say about this!!!

Some are missing the point by a country mile here. This is about a TV network that claims to be "fair and balanced", sponsoring and backing a promo-ing a movement that is filled with, front-and-center, mind you, crazy loony right wing nutjob talk and motivations.
How about the "Fox News Channel Fostering-violent-rhetoric-and-fomenting-violence-once-again-like-before-Oklahoma City show"?

You realize that this isn't involving solely republicans don't you? There are large numbers of democrats who are involved as well. This is about the same ideals that the original Boston Tea Party had, which is why they call it a tea party. You are free to disagree, because it is still a free country. Trying to ridicule it accomplishes nothing, creating your own movement might. What concerns me, is that the freedom to do this sort of thing is going away with the legislation now in congress concerning the limitation of free speech.
- 6 votes
You might as well be talking to the wall. The left do not care about that. It's there way or the highway. They are sheep. Freedom to them is freedom to think like them.
- 4 votes
Jim, This is not an event for Democrats. name a notable Democrat that is backing this event, speaking at this event, sponsoring this event or urging their constituents to attend. The freedom to throw a tantrum is not going a way, that is a silly thought. Limiting free speech, where is the proof of that nonsensical rhetoric. This teabagging event is not about sex acts, taxes, or representation. This is a tantrum sponsored by the poor sports who do not like the way the elections turned out. Nothing more.

Fox News has been parading a whole line of people who are openly Democrats that are talking about their opposition to the taxation they see coming and all their Democrat friends who will be protesting in the Tea Party. This isn't about people in power, this is about the power of the people trying to keep the people in power in check. So clearly power Democratic leaders are not desired for this.

There were people from all political affiliations at these protests. There was a greater turnout than was expected. You just might start seeing this develop into something liberal extremists are going to find more and more difficult to ignore. Obama took it seriously - he threw out his response to the Tea Party concerns in his media appearances during the day.
It seems to boil down to whether government is the solution to our problems. Obama believes more government will stabilize the economy. Most Americans oppose bigger government, especially since that is part of the foundation of the principles of our country that preserves our liberty. Government (no matter which party is in control) has been getting larger, and the laws more complex, and only seems to be accelerating. That threatens the liberties guaranteed by our constitution. I think that is at the core of this tea party movement.
- 3 votes
That is the core Jim, but unless we are carrying the Mexican flag and fighting for the "rights?" of illegal alliens, there will be no respect for our view. Ever.
- 4 votes
Just to clarify,Jim, I was not implying that you and I have the same views. I was speaking of the humans that I agree with. Sorry if I offended.(?)
I'm not in your groups PartysOver, yet I agree. The purpose of a discussion, for me anyway, is to try to find some commonality in the opposing thought in order to resolve our differences.
I thought the issue of free speech, free choice (in all parts of life), and fiscal responsibility were the common ground we shared.Appearently, they are not ready to share the sand box.

Unfortunately I am hearing now that CNN has been promoting the idea that the Tea Party was an effort to promote hate against the Obama administration. It seems that the people who are accusing conservative Americans of being hateful by simply expressing a legitimate concern and basing those concerns on solid facts, are responding with accusations of hate expressed with passionate anger and at the same time with cool misrepresentation of facts about the Tea Party demonstrations.
Honestly, it seems eerily familiar to political tactics cited in books written by Saul Alinsky. A serious threat to the American way of life.
- 1 vote
Incidently, for those who are undoubtedly going to ask for specifics in my previous post. There are a number of the rules at play in the response to the Tea Parties, however, one particularly stands out here:
RULE 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)

Liberals protest and they're "Patriots". Conservatives protest and they're "cry babies". The left are nothing but hypocrites.
- 9 votes
No, I'm pretty sure they were called "unpatriotic" and "terrorist lovers" during the Bush years, the right loves to have a selective memory.
- 12 votes
Make no mistake, Orange. I think American protesters are cry babies regardless of which party they come from. We, from the greatest country the world has ever seen, have the perfect protest: routine, legal elections.
- 2 votes
The tea parties are supposedly about fighting taxation without representation? Who was prevented from voting? Who doesn't have congressmen and senators?
- 5 votes
I don't remember telling my represenatives it was ok to take over banking, mortgages, car companies, and to socialize medicine. Actually I'm positive I don't want that.
So you tell em then, where's my representation? I want my respresentatives following the Constitution, not tearing it apart.
- 2 votes
I don't always appreciate the way my representatives vote, but I vote and try my best to make a difference. Its not a perfect system but it's what we have. If your representatives are not doing the will of the people they will be voted out eventually. It is simply not factual to say we are taxed and are without representation. Our votes are our voices.

Go Fox News! It makes people crazy to see a group of people on television disagreeing with the party in power!
There are the left wing activists all over the place--you get one set of right wingers out there in the public eye and the left starts screaming like mad. What, do ya think they are going to convert the left to right?
Give me a break! and I agree with you USA4Him---there is an awful lot of whining going on here.
Just keep in mind, free speech---take it while you can--because you know it will be gone before you know it---not even you lefties will be able to disagree with anyone!
God Bless and good night!
PS--that O'Reilly guy was pretty funny.....
- 5 votes
Chloe, You have missed the point of what is annoying about this scenario. Fox represents itself as fair and balanced and as reporters. in this tea-bagging scenario they are creating the news. they are sponsoring it and advertising it and they are unbalanced. By unbalanced I mean, off, no sound footing, no truth and not in touch with regular Americans. The funny part is that they are worried about their taxes going up not the taxes of the schmucks they are trying to rally behind them. Nobody even knows what they are protesting it is clearly an anti-Obama rally because the sore losers cannot admit defeat. It is a laugh a second with these sorry paranoid tantrum throwers. I see this tea party being advertised on every white nationalist's and supremacist's websites I have looked at. That is who I want to spend my day with, NOT. that is who I want my loved ones to be palling around with, NOT. These people are racists, bigots, and fanatics. They are protesting everything from immigration to the new dog Bo. Fox news faces are the puppies, sick disgusting puppies. O'Reilly is as funny as a fart in a crowded room, truly entertaining for some while others find him disgusting. God Bless and good night to you and enjoy the teabagging.
- 3 votes
Oh, not me. I just found the comments to be rather amusing---we are all entitled to our opinions. I'm not going to bash Fox News--they are telling their side. And doing what they think they should to promote whatever end they'd like to see---maybe they are just big babies--maybe they have definite points and the media is making it look like something else?????
I see alot of news--read articles--we never really get the true story---the news is controlled by government and big business--when it is really important, do you really think the government won't stop Fox? It's just a a game to get people riled up.
Fox has the money, someone likes them--I only watched O'Reilly once--he was funny. I guess I missed the disgusting part. And, he did mention that the right wingers don't really have anyone to go to now.
I'm not necessarily anti-Obama, but I don't like alot of what he stands for. I did not vote for him--and if we must label, I do lean to the right.
My earlier comment was just noting the hissy fit I see going on here. Same as when someone posts an article exactly opposite this one.
And I still say go Fox News! You are getting noticed. They do take bashing well. They are still exercising their right of free speech and that's fine with me.
And tjs-945802--agreed! I won't be attending--maybe watching from my couch--but good luck to you.

Look forward to attending the next Tea Party in my area to protest the federal gov. and all it's bailouts. It's about time that fiscal conservatives wake up and start making a little noise. Let's send a clear message to Washington (democrats and republicans alike) that we are tired of paying for bailouts and the growth of the federal government. Washington stop spending taxpayer money you don't have and start cutting the federal budget and gov. waste.

Poor disenfranchised conservatives. I find it absolutely amazing how fast all these tough, independent, self-reliant, real Americans have turned into crying little victims of the huge evil liberal machine. Where the hell are your boot straps? In three short months.
It reminds me of Jr. High, my Mom told me to stand up to a bully that was giving me trouble. The next time I saw him I drilled him in the nose. I never imagined anyone could cry as loud or long as that "tough guy" he went from cock of the walk to poor victim before he even hit the side walk. Boo Hoo Hoo, It's not fair, I'm the bully you're the victim how dare you change roles on me!! Boo Hoo Hoo

That's funny my daddy taught me the same thing. But as grown ups we're not supposed to act like juveniles (something libs seem to forget when they protest) so some of us will be protesting our government because of they're over spending and over taxing, and for the fact that they have no authority to be doing what it is they're doing now.
And amazingly enough, we won't be alone. There will be Dems and Indies alongside of us. You see, government isn't supposed to be dabbling in the private sector. They're not supposed to be involved in banking and mortgages, either.
Maybe if some you "smart" libbies would brush up on the Constitution (you know that little piece of paper they swear to uphold and defend when elected) you'd understand all of this.

The entertainment value will not be realized until the April 16 after all the footage of the 'protest' comes in. I figure since the Tea-baggers are mostly composed of the people that aren't smart enough to realize that they're actually protesting an administration that's cutting thier taxes, the occasional drooling racist, a couple of gun queers - the melange of retardation should provide for some good entertainment. Add a little alcohol to the mix and some of these first time protestors might just decide that getting associated with this thing probably wasn't such a good idea.
